The MEDIGREIF District Hospital in Burg has belonged to the MEDIGREIF group of companies since the 10th June 2004. Around 10,000 patients annually are treated on an inpatient basis and as many again as outpatients. The facility has a superbly equipped medical technical operating wing at its disposal and modern dormitories with over 200 beds. There is a health care college at the Burg District Hospital, in which there are 20 trainee positions per year available.
